Theme Conflict?

Theme Conflict?

Moodle 2.0 site working fine; then tried to log in and get error message:

Config table does not contain version, can not continue, sorry.

Coding error detected, it must be fixed by a programmer: block_manager has not yet loaded the blocks, to it is too soon to request the information you asked for.

From researching, this may be a theme conflict (am using nice Magazine theme), though I've been reliably advised it's probably not.

Am unable to 'turn on debugging' as Mary Evans suggests here:

http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=162927&parent=716615

...as I cannot access the log in page. The direct debugging URL sends me back to the above error message. I have access to the moodle files from the server, but don't know what to do when I get there.

Kind thanks in advance for advice,

Francois.

I am going to move this to Instalation Problems as you will get better advice than I can give. I don't think this is a Theme related question either.

Francois,

I don't know whether this is your problem or not, but I had the same message when I mistakenly copied a block I had uploaded into the wrong moodle folder (I think I'd put it in modules instead of blocks, I can't remember but I know I'd put it in the wrong place).

So my question would be have you recently uploaded any plugins and have you checked where you put them?
