In 1.9, we provided Hidden Non-Editing Teacher status at the Category level in order to provide "observer" status for supervisors/administrators.
I have seen the description of how to do this at the Course level using Settings:Users:Other Roles and have a Teacher Hidden role available as well as the default Manager role.
I cannot discern how to assign Users:Other Roles at the Category level as was possible in 1.9.x
Suggestions?
