Usability: Login as other user - logout to own user?

Hi everyone,

I'm using ~Moodle 2.1, and when I'm a active user of the "login as" function.
However, when I want to go back to my own user, I'd usually just click my own name in the top right, where it says:
[My Own Name] logged in as Some Other Users Name
But this logs me out of moodle entirely?

Is this the wanted behaviour, or is it a bug? If it is the wanted behaviour, how would I come around switching right back to my own user, without having to re-enter my username and password?

Thanks in advance! smile

Hi Mathias,

After using the 'Login as' function, for security reasons you are automatically logged out of Moodle when you return to your normal role. If you login again you will be redirected to the page that you were on previously. (Source: Administration FAQ)

I, too, miss the way logging out of another user's account took me back to my account without having to log back in.  Just my 2 cents worth.
