If I modify the teacher role to include context Category then they can delete their courses only which is what I’m interested in.
And I agree with you, it's always dangerous giving user the ability delete data but I have found that the reduced administrative overhead is well worth the risk. To reduce our exposure and make sure that we don’t loss student data, we run full backups on the server every night for when we need to restore data and it’s a when not an if.
