PS: little pitfall for german users.
Do not opt eg. 0,1 EUR (as used with us) correct would be 0.1 EUR !! (a little pitfall - for germans...)

Actually, there never was a $ icon in Moodle, you must have been using some of my code from awhile back? I've actually added a PayPal icon that hopefully will be in 1.5.
