1.9.11 - HTML Link label changed after upgrade

I have just updated one of our clients from Moodle 1.9.7 to moodle 1.9.11 and the labels on all media changed to reflect the style of media it is and is ignoring the imbeded HTML code.  The picture shows the changes between the two sites.

An example of the code is here:

The syntax for their a link has not changed during the upgrade and I have checked permissions to verify the obvious, that permissions have nothing to do with how moodle is reading the edited code within a course topic.

I searched for a tracker issue on this but was unsuccessful.  Is this something new that was implemented?  Any insite would be great.  Thanks!

Bump in hopes someone will just reply :D

Would love to give my client some explanation as to why the Labeling system is not functioning properly.

Hi Joe,

We have run into other issues as well, when you check the source code for your moodle book some content will appear or not appear.

For example if a Moodle Book as two or more videos one video is displayed more than once.  As well some content is in the source code does not display anymore in the Moodle Book.  However all works fine on our previous server running 1.9.9.

We are now double checking to see if this issue maybe related to an install of Kaltura that also was implemented during the upgrade to Moodle 1.9.11+.

We're having the same problem. We have a Flash video where the link label was changed from "Value Creation Analysis" to "Flash video". The change occurred when we upgraded from 1.9.9+ to 1.9.11+. We have since upgraded to 1.9.12 but still have the same problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We had this problem when we switched from 1.9.10 to 1.9.11. We are hosted by Moodlerooms and opened a ticket with them at the time. They found these two tickets that are related.

Ticket #1 and Ticket #2

To solve the issue, Moodlerooms reverted the code back to 1.9.10 for us until Moodle core comes up with a fix in future releases. Hope this helps.
