Can't read uploaded documents

With a 1.0.4 install on RedHat 8.0, things go well till you try to READ an "uploaded" document.

Apache replies:

The requested URL /moodle/file.php/2/csf_1001/rational_paranoia.htm was not found on this server.

Category of courses is 2, course ID is csf_1001 and file designated is named correctly and exists as readable by all (rw-r--r--).

Any idea where the problems might be?

Look in 'Configure variables" and try changing the slasharguments variable.

Changing the slash arguments from TRUE to FALSE was the solution!
