Recently a faculty member contacted us regarding some grades and feedback that he uploaded in the Gradebook to an exisiting assignment.
When students log into the course, they can see only their grades if they click the assignment, but they can see the grades and the feedback if they click to access the gradebook.
Although created as an Advanced of Uploading of Files assignment, the teacher uploaded grades and feedback using the Import tool in the gradebook.
Logged in as teacher or admin, we can see the feedback in the assignment, but students cannot. Is there a setting that can be toggled to allow students this visibility? Since the grades are visible in the gradebook, only the feedback is missing, is the feedback being written to a different table in the upload process?
