As with my previous post about crosswords, I have posted this in the bug tracker as well, but in case others have experienced this and found a solution:
Using the game types Hangman or Cryptex, if the user completes a game, the grade is not entered into the course grade book unless another attempt is started. At the end of the game, if the user clicks "end of game" no grade is recorded in the grade book, only in the module itself. However, if the user clicks "new game" (this second attempt does not have to be completed), the grade is recorded.
Moreover, average grade is not computed.
We set up a game and made three attempts with the grading method set to "Average grade":
1. Result was 80% (the module shows 80%, the grade book no grade. Expected 80%)
2. Result was 100% (the module shows 100%, the grade book 80%, i.e. previous result. Expected 90% )
3. Result was 100% (the module shows 100%, the grade book 100%, i.e. previous result. Expected 93.3%)
