I created a role that only allows one to change usernames and passwords for all users. However, when the role logs in, they can't see the site administration block. I looked closely to see a role item called "view site administration block". Couldn't quite find it.
What should I enable to create this role type?
Hi Mickey - the permission you are after is tied into the "allowed to do everything" capability. This is our work-around, based on our use of myMoodle.
Add the admin bookmarks block as a sticky block in myMoodle (we put it at top left). This block is only visible to users with some sort of site admin role capability. Login as the user you have assigned to the helpdesk role. Manually visit the "browse list of users" page (copy/paste link). Bookmark the page and the link will now show at top left of the users myMoodle page.
