Status update:
I tried the htaccess file in both the root directory and the Moodle directory, after removing the FP extensions. I still get the same configuration error report, which now, I believe, leaves "Override" prevention at the server as the last remaining problem. I have a request in to the host if this is the culprit and if they can change settings. If not, it looks like I'll need to find another host. Anyone have suggestions?
