Hey!
I have a small problem with the chat module. When several students have the same first name it is impossible to know who wrote a message.
For example: We have three Johns in the chatroom. To the right their surnames are shown but when they write a message all that it says is:
"HH:MM John: message content"
Is there a way to add the surname to that message? So it would be like:
"HH:MM John Anderson: message content"

i searched moodle.org and Google for the same issue. Unfortunately i can't find a solution...
In my Moodle 1.9.13 i didn't find any possibility, to fix it. Furthermore i've checked the code (.../mod/chat/), but my knowledge of PHP and JS isn't good enough, for understanding the problem.
Anybody can help?
