I'm having an interesting problem with Activity Locking in my install of Moodle. Everything works fine if I set the AL using the icons beside each individual item in my topics. However, if I use the lock icons on the right-hand side of the entire topic, everything works ok, but when I hit "Turn Editing On" and I try to edit an individual item within the locked topic, such as a label or SCORM, I'm told these items are locked.
I've tried turning on debugging but haven't seen anything that looks out of the ordinary. I'm pretty sure the tables are set up properly in the database. I feel like maybe this could be a permissions issue.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any help would be appreciated. I would very much like to be able to use the overall topic Locks as opposed to the Locks for each individual item within the topic, because I have SEVERAL topics each containing a LOT of items.
