I am having trouble putting a calculation in to gradebook.
I have three assignments (all in different categories) and I have added a new category at the end (November grade). I want Novmber grade to report an average mark for the three assignments (I can't put them into the same category so it must be a calculation).
The problem is that some students have not done all 3 assignments, in which case, I want 'November grade' to report the average of the two assignments that they have done.
If I use =average(1,2,3) then students who have not done all 3 assignments are penalised.
How do I get around this please?
