Users have disappeared from the user report, but are in the marker report?

No, nothing has changed.
It seems to be on a particular role on a non editing teacher or editing teacher.
Sorry, I am not clean in the issue.
Teachers should not really apper in the gradebook anyway
Its the students who do not appear in the drop down list on the right hand side of the user report when in a role which is editing and non editing teacher.
I am having a simlar issue the difference being their grades have never showed up in the User Report but are in the grader report.
I have set it up before with it working but I changed my setup from wamp to xampp. It is a fresh install and nothing was migrated from the other moodle.
I am using 1.9 version of moodle.
