Skype browser plugin injecting data into HTML editor

Skype IE and Firefox browser plugin automatically injects markup code into the HTML editor after typing in a phone number. This code is suppose to create clickable links to dial the number in Skype.

We found labels containing invalid markup code injected by Skype that prevented the user from editing and saving a label or accessing the HTML code using the Firefox browser. We were able to access the source HTML code with MS IE 8 browser.  After the invalid code was removed, the user was able to edit and save the label.

There is some information published by Pete Freitag on how to disable the skype plugin on an HTML page at http://www.petefreitag.com/item/751.cfm .  Pete recommends adding a script using Jquery to the header.

We are seeking advice from Moodle developers: Would you recommend adding Pete Freitag's script to the Moodle header tag?  Thank you.
