We've had a request for a history of a specific user's moodle logins. We have web server logs that record IP addresses and the pages they access, but no per(moodle)-user information. I'm not aware if moodle maintains a user login history, or if that requires adding an authentication plug-in. Thanks for any information.

You should be able to see all successful and unsuccessful login in your site logs. Administration > Reports > Logs and you can the filter by the user you are looking for and the date or all dates) and choose "download in excel format" or "download in ods format" and you can then open them up in your spreadsheet application and filter them by action to only display user login....
