Hi,
This looks like a vey good idea. Our organization also has two official languages (and more working ones) and everything that could simplify edition of texts would be welcome.
I would be ready to test it and give you feedback when you are done with it.
However, in my idea, I would say the real deal for this kind of tool would be something duplicating the fields on the main area depending on how many languages you want to use in your course.
cheers
Thibault
Hallo,
This looks great....!
I'm using multilang filters (4 languages) and it's very slow because one needs to work without editor to avoid the mess and code between too language spans....I think that with you tool, we could write and edit texts at least twice as fast !!!
Thank you
Ulrike
We have developed a block to help teachers generating multilang content.
Download multilang block.
Step-by-step guide.
We would appreciate some help testing the tool before publishing it in Modules and plugins database.
The package includes the lang folders for three languages (Spanish, Basque and English). We would also appreciate translations to other languages.
This tool has been developed by Edooca on behalf of TKNIKA. Improvement proposals are welcome.

I'm from Edooca team. We are very pleasant by the great reception given to the proyect.

As @José Miguel has said, we would like to propose you to test the block and report any comments or suggestions before publishing it in Modules and Plugins.
We will upload the latest versions of the tool during these days.
Thnx!
Hi,
I tried it, it's great !!! Everything works fine, the installation, the generator itself
So easy, besides it doesn't show for students...
Thank you...!
Ulrike

Hi Iñigo
I have downloaded the module. Thank you for the link. Up thread there is a link for the Userguide, but the link does not work. Can you give that also please?
Also, do you know if the module works in Moodle 2.x?
Thanks

Hi Iñigo!
It's great to know about the update project.
You shoud be aware of this Issue about, TinyMCE editor and multilang filter.
We haven't started yet working...so thanks for the info. We will take a look to that issue.
Thanks Joxemi!
The links are broken. I would be really thankful if you could share once again the tool.
Thanks in advance!

Eskerrik asko, moltes gràcies, merci, thank you!
I'm a teacher in principality of Andorra, in the school we work in catalan, spanish, french, and english. your block save my live. I just say: LA HOSTIA EN VINAGRE.
Hi Manel!
We work in Basque and Spanish. Multilang filter is a very useful tool to be used in some elements (course categories, blocks, ...) but maybe it is not the appropiate tool to be used for all the elements un a course.
We are working with eXeLearning to create contents and we export them to XLIFF format to manage the translation process.
Could XLIFF be a good tool to translate Moodle courses? We can discuss this question here.
