Resource visible for non-editing-teacher but not student

Hi,

I generated a report (php-file, linked to via a resource) which should be visible and accessible for non-editing teachers, but not students.

Studied the roles/permissions for some time and tried different things, but no success. I thought it should be possible via

Edit resource -> Override permissions

and then
for non-editing teachers allow "view" or something alike
for students and lower prevent "view" or something alike

But all choices I get when trying to override the permissions is "Access all groups".

Any help?

If you don't want them to even be able to see the link to the file then you might try creating a group of your non-editing teachers and then in the link settings page, tick the box that says "Available for group members only" and then select the grouping that you want to add the group to.
