Hi all

I just realised that it is possible to send face-to-face invitations to user's primary Outlook calendar (rather than an internet calendar).  I thought this might be useful information for other people, so I'm posting it here.

What I did was:

  1. Open the mod\facetoface\lib.php file
  2. Change all references to iCAL to vCAL (watch out for a few words that have ical in them - like practical).
  3. Change all references to .ics to .vcs.

It seems to be working really well so far.  Fingers crossed I don't run into any problems!

As an update, the one problem I'm still having with face-to-face is that I can't get a .vcs file on my Cancellation emails. 

I couldn't get it working with .ics files either, so I suspect it's an unrelated issue.  Any ideas why my calendar attachments aren't coming through with my cancellation email?  I'd appreciate any suggestions.
