could someone tell me how do i get chat to work? i would like the kids to be able click on their fellow student´s names and chat with them. they could do this before i upgraded, but now can´t. how do i check if chat was installed in the upgrade? where di go exactly?
any help would be appreciated

I think you mean 'Messaging'?
There's an option to turn it on/off. Do a search for 'messaging' in the Site administration.
