Roles and permissions

Thank you for your response! I've played around with what you've mentioned before, but was unable to get the right results. Do you remember what you altered on the "viewer" role in particular? I'm assuming you duplicated the guest role and did some tweaking with that. I've tried changing the "view all courses" to prohibit and well as other things, but didn't have any luck really.

So far as I have it, the guest work great, but my issues are with the authenticated users. I created a custom role for them that is a duplicate of the student role except i gave them access to "view hidden courses". This works great except they can view ALL hidden courses. ha. I'd still like to keep the guest courses and the student courses completely separated.

Any specifics you can give would be great!
