I have deleted old attempts by some students who are repeating a course. However even after I have deleted their attempts, their last year's scores are still appear on the gradebook. (If I log in under one of these student's names, then their personal gradebook is cleared). Is there some way that the teacher's view of the gradebook will reflect the deleted attempts?

are we talking about HotPot or QuizPort?
I understand that you could see a grade listed in the Moodle gradebook for a student doing an activity, but the student couldn't see that activity listed in their view of the Moodle gradebook. Is that correct?
