Hi,
I've been exploring Moodle recently, and am disappointed with the standard user interface.
After exploring a handful of custom themes, I haven't come across anything that really jumps out in terms of (a) usability, (b) effective information architecture, and (c) clean, pleasing visual design.
I realize that some of these categories are subjective, but was wondering if anyone in these forums might be able to point me toward examples of Moodle implementations that are simultaneously usable and beautiful while also boasting logical information architecture.
Thanks!
Aaron
Hi Aaron, my current favorites:
http://ciscoinstitute.net
http://americasprofessor.com
http://moneyu.com/course
These are all sites I've worked on in one capacity (dev/project mgr/architect/etc) or another, so I may be biased - but I think they perhaps help show the capacity of Moodle to look pretty nice when required .
