I have two modules that I have developed that could help you with this with a little creativity.
Trackpad which is a todo list and Focuspad which is a creative writing activity.
To give you a few examples:
Trackpad which is a todo list and Focuspad which is a creative writing activity.
To give you a few examples:
- Using Trackpad you could set up a web scavenger hunt, put in a list of items they need to discover and they tick them off as they find them. This could be done individually, in groups or as a class.
- Using Focuspad you can apply templates. You could put a few random starter sentences in and ask them to write a short story utilising them.
- Using Trackpad you could get the students to enter 10 reading challenges they must do befor the end of term (or week, month etc). (These could be: read a newspaper article, read an entry in an encyclopedia, read a book etc) They then have to tick them off as they go, you can check up on their progress and offer incentives to get through the list quicker.
- Using Focuspad you can easily set up a journal mechanism and get them to write a journal entry every week.
- etc...
