Linking to moodle from a web site

I have a web site dedicated to teaching English and I would like to use moodle to set up activities, and all the other great stuff moodle offers. I want to create my own moodle and develop it inside my web site/url since I already have MySQL and Apache available from within. This would greatly avoid me to download into my PC MySQL and Apache which would consume/use a lot of hard disk/memory resources. Is this possible?

Well yes - if your host allows and you know how to do it or they will do it for you then it is perfectly possible to have Moodle in a subdirectory of your main site - so for example your main site is

www. teaching english dot com

and your Moodle could then be www teachingenglish dot com slash moodle

if you see what I meansmile
