Hi,
I have separate moodle installations for different organisations with similar courses. In the future I think it would be nice to have a common forum for those similar courses for students from these different organisations to share ideas and problems?
Does anyone know if this has be done or have any ideas if this is possible or how it can be done?

Stephen - If I understand what you are asking, I think this is already possible (somewhat at least). If you make use of Moodle Networking then you can create a forum on one site and allow users on the other site to participate in it. The forum does need to be created and maintained on one site; otherwise, I think permissions, security, and general management would be a nightmare. Does that make sense and seem to get at what you are hoping for? Peace - Anthony
