Per the instructions the zip that was prepared was intended to be uploaded as a zip and unloaded in your /moodle directory per the instructions provided..... you may have misplaced files. Alex did some rearranging in 7.7.1 but I have not heard that anyone received this error.... have you looked in your java console to see where it was looking and whether the language file is in that location?

you can get 7.7.8 from sourceforge (info is in docs) or you can wait till later in the week and I will repackage zip to address the additional development that Alex has done.

you can also look at their cvs and compare the location of the unfound files with their location in 7.7.1
