we are using this very famous moodle in our campus. we have enables e-mail based authentication for registration.
but after i have created the account the error message like this..
tried to send an e mail, but failed.
please check the smtp settings,,,
so how can i rectify this problem.....

Suggest you check:
Login as Admin.
Server, E-mail and fill in the SMTP info.
Is this configured?
