How to add Latest News Block in a course?

Hi! Does anyone know how I could add the Latest News Block in an existing course? It doesn't show on the dropdown Add Blocks sad. Please help! smile

Hi chinky,

Please check that the latest news block isn't hidden in Administration > Modules > Blocks > Manage Blocks. Also, check in your course settings that "News items to show" is set to something other than 0.

Hi Helen, thanks for your response. I checked and the Latest News is not hidden, and the news to show is set to 3 but the latest news still isn't showing. It's only for one course, all the other courses have latest news.
