Good morning all;

Is there a way that I can deny the creation of new accounts, temporarily?  Basically, my teachers are creating their Moodle classes and I have opened the entire site for guests, so they can see everything,

I want to restrict account creation because I only want teachers with accounts, for now.

Any ideas?

Hi Marc, go to Administration menu, Authentication, and set it to manual accounts only.

You'll have to add any new teacher accounts, manually or via import users, of course.

Thank you both for that reply.  I was just having a "brain fart"!  I knew the answer (once you gave it to me), but I couldn't for the life of me remember that setting.
