Moodle 1.3 and Apache 2.1

Moodle 1.3 and Apache 2.1

Does anyone know if Moodle 1.3 runs without problems on servers with Apache 2.1?  I didn't experience any problems until a few weeks ago, when my hosting server started using Apache 2.1.  When I upload files, they are not accessible, apparently because the data directory is automatically replaced by a directory called 'file.php'.  Does anybody experience the same problems or see a possible explanation or a way to solve this problem?  Thanks in  advance.

As far as I know Apache current is 2.0.50 and yes it works fine with Moodle 1.3. The main concern is probably if php is very old. Upgrade to 4.3.8 (security issues in older php versions).
