Won't install on Moodle 1.9.2

Everytime I upload the module, I get this message: Module "stampcoll" is not readable - check permissions

I have checked the permissions and changed them to 777

I still get a not readable message, this time version.php not readable.

I'm running PHP version 5

Please can anyone help?

The problem is with Stampcoll module or with the module Game ?
Maybe you have to change the permission to subdirectories and files too.

All game sub directories and files were set to 777. I tried installing Stampcoll, but I get the exact same problem with that too, even though all permissions were set to 777 there as well.

Sorry, I just realised I said Stampcoll in my first post - the problem was with Game. I was going to make a separate post elsewhere about Stampcoll and it must have been on my mind whilst I was typing!

Anyway, I have tried again, and this time it worked - don't know why after several identical attempts!
