Messaging: IE6 can't open message history

When I click on message history in 1.9.2 with IE6 I get a pop-up window for the history. Then a error message pops up from IE that says that "Internet Explorer cannot open this site. http://mysite.com.etcfollowed by Operation Aborted.

You can see it in the image below. Any ideas why this is happening. Works fine In FF3.1.

I briefly had this situation. I downloaded IE7 and it went away...

That would be the optimal solution. If I could only get the network administrator to do that.
