The IT guys who administer the MySql server that supports my Moodle site will not upgrade to a late enough version of MySql in order to support upgrading our Moodle. So, I'm currently stuck with version 1.5.3, which, as far as I can tell, doesn't have a way to show a grades report for an individual student for all the course quizzes they've taken. All it seems to do is show me the grade for every student for one course at a time.
Here's what I've tried to do:
-customize the functions in grade/lib.php. This was a nightmare and did not work as I had hoped.
-searched every FAQ, forum post, and developer blog I could find and all of them seem to assume that I have a recent version of Moodle.
So, Is there a work around for me to create grade reports for individual students for this old version? Thanks.
