can't view submitted assignments for some classes

Hello,

I just installed moodle last week. I have had no trouble until last night. I'm using moodle with my teenaged daughter in our home education environment so that when she is with her father she can submit work, get assignments, etc.

She uploaded one assignment in her English class and I was able to view it without a problem. However, her history class, and her Science class assignments are not viewable. She can upload without a problem, but when I go to 'view submitted assignments', I get an error pop up stating: No file parameters!

?? Any suggestions as to what may be happening? My webhost is on a Linux box running MySQL and PHP.

Thank you,

Lisa Durham

I found the solution in another post. I went to the Admin/Configure Variables section and changed the "slasharguments".  Now I can view files from the other classes as well.

Curious as to why it wasn't consistent? I could see the submitted files in some classes but not others.

Thanks anyway.... we are LOVING MOODLE in our home education experience!

Cool application - that's the first Moodle class of 1 that I've heard of! Күлкі

A better solution to this problem, if you're using Apache 2, is outlined here: http://moodle.org/faq

I tried the .htaccess fix and nothing worked. Stopped me from being able to use the site at all. It's a hosted domain so I don't have access to directly modify the conf file for Apache. And I'm not sure they are even using Apache 2 yet. (I tried anyway.)

Thanks for such a great product  - I think it's going to make logistics much easier for everyone involved!
