I'm not sure this is the right place to ask this but since I'm currently using the Gradebook module to address this problem I'll go ahead with it.
For our annual report we're trying to put together a list of all of the users who have ever enrolled in a course and whether those users actually completed the course. The gradebook works okay for this by and large but if a student has disenrolled themselves from the course after completing it, then their grades and all record that they were ever in the course disappears.
Is there a better way we can track this other than trying to convince someone to go in and take inventory of the courses at certain points throughout the year?
