Online users in 1.4 DEV

I have a slight problem with the block 'online users' on the frontpage.

If I login as a test student, and make an entry in a forum in my test course, the test student doesn't show up under online users, nor does this activity show up in the live log. Anything wrong here?

I have moodle 1.4 running locally on my windowsXP, running with the easyphp 1-7 package with php, mysql and apache.

Hi Ian,

when you say that you login as a test student, do you want to say that you are accessing from the login screen or that you are using the "Login as" feature.

If your case is the second, I think that such behaviour is completely correct, because log and activity records aren't created on purpose.

I think that it is a feature, not a bug...

Yes, I would also expect the second behaviour, but I actually logged out and logged in as the test student, and tried several times to refresh the browser, to avoid the cache making funny things...
