Using Moodle for 1, 2 & 3 day courses?

I'm part of an environmental/health and safety consulting company.  We regularly provide 1, 2 & 3 day courses to our clients and we've been considering the prospect of providing these courses in an e-learning environment.  Do you think Moodle would be a good platform for this type of short duration course?

I would be greatful for any comments/recommendations.

When we've adapted short courses for online use, we tend to be more successful when spreading the course over a slightly longer period of time. This takes advantage of the potential of online interaction to fit around people's working lives and their managers often appreciate that they don't have to take a day or more out at once!

So an asynchronous online course might take a week to cover the material we would use in a one-day course. Participants log on for an hour or so a day at their convenience.
