my moodle lan is fa(persian).my CSV file is name and last name is fa persian).when i great a CSV file to uplod user this name and last name show ??????? and ???????.what i do this problem?i
I think this is a unicode problem.
Which version of moodle do you use ?
Have you saved your *.csv - File in UTF-8-format ? In Moodle 1.9. you can choose another format if you cannot save your data in UTF-8.
In 1.9 you also have a forecast where you can see how csv-data will imported.

why i saveing *.csv - File in UTF-8-format in exel????
An easy way to do this is choosing openoffice for saving your *.csv- File.
When you choose Save file as you and say csv you have an option in the last line,
where you can choose UTF-8.
Another way is to do it, use an editor, maybe ultraedit, for saving your file.
