Keep custome html block after upgrade

I just upgraded to 1.9, everyting is fine, but main problem is that front page become new, since I used to have 4 html block in previos version, but after upgrading , it doesn't appear on front page. how can I return front page back as previous.

If you mean the HTML block options along with the other blocks then if you turn editing on in the front page and add a block you can add 4 new html blocks back that way, or did I misunderstand your problem?

yes, you are right, but is there any way to return all my previous html block back, like same html and stuff as previous.

OR

I should have taken the backup of front page before upgrading and restore it?
