One of the most talked about features in the Lesson Forum. Import PowerPoint documentation in MoodleDocs has lots of specifics and how to's and even some links to small PowerPoints that should be able to be imported into a Lesson.

Having trouble? standard answers is:
1. The PowerPoint has to be a simple one.
2. The version of PowerPoint has to be compatible with your Moodle version.
3. You have to follow instructions in MoodleDocs
4. It can be frustrating for all concerned, we understand.

What is difference between a Lesson and Quiz?

What is the difference? Lesson and Quiz both ask questions, have similar type questions that can be put in an order or appear in random order, the answers can be randomize, scored, have feedback fields and the each can be part of Grades. Both Lesson and Quiz have a page type for inserting information that is not scored. Both have the HTML editor tool to use in questions and answers.

Lesson is all about giving a student choices on every lesson page which lead them to a place the teacher has pre-determined. Lesson has jumps associated with its question answers. Lesson has some special navigation pages. Lesson has choice buttons associated with its non scored pages.

Quiz is all about finding out what a student knows and sharing that with them and with the teacher. It has a robust set of question types, can share questions with other quizzes with more options in scoring, regrading , and has multiple kinds of reports about student performance in the quiz or about the questions.
