One of the answers you entered was not a valid number.

Quiz module: I wrote a numerical question with two possible answers. The question works. Then I deleteted the second answer with the feedback and gave a general feedback. As I try to save the question I get the error message: "One of the answers you entered was not a valid number."

But all the fields of the second answer are empty. Does anyone know this bug. Is there a workaround?

Hi Stephan
If you delete the answer field and the feedback and put the score to none, this answer should be deleted automatically.

P.S. I just check on a 1.8 version and try for yourself.

I'm also on 1.8.2 and getting the same error. I have checked that the other fields are empty and that the grade is none. A possible complication in my case: I am testing multilang in the quiz and it is working. When I get the error and click "continue" I just come back to the question edit interface. If I go to the top of the site and return to the course the question works. But it's hardly satisfying to have to "run around" like that.

It's question 5 on

(It's not 1.6, I just haven't changed the folder name)

Hi Jeff,
I cannot reproduce on my installation and cannot access to yours (name,pw?).
