Failure in Previewing quiz

Failure in Previewing quiz

Hello,

I am new to using the quiz module on Moodle. I have tried it by writing a sample, but when I want to preview, the folllowing message appears:

"A required parameter (cmid) was missing"

I am not sure what i means and how to resolve this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you create just one question (which type?) to put into your new "sample quiz"? Can you preview just that one question?

Joseph,

I created one question: I now realize that I can preview the question in itself (magnifying glass in bank of questions), but I cannot add it to the quiz and therefore when trying to preview the quiz, the above message appears.

Exactly which version of Moodle are you using. I have a vague memory of a bug like this that I fixed.

I am using 1.9 version.
Actually I believe I found what my problem was. I did not check the box when trying to add the question.
This should solve my issue, I hope. If not you might hear back from me wink
