Bulk upload Course Moodle 2.2 - "editingteacher" help - Piers Harding

Hi all,

I am trying to use the following : https://github.com/piersharding/moodle-tool_uploadcourse/blob/master/README.txt

Everything works as expected except for one thing; I cant get the editingteacher column to work.

Here is my CSV that I upload:

fullname,editingteacher,category,summary,shortname,idnumber
Accounting-AileenFoster-1,aileenfoster,Breifne Temp,Accounting-AileenFoster-1,Accounting-AileenFoster-1,Acc-AF-7-LC2@email.ie
Agricultural Science-Kerri AnnThornton-2,kerriannthornton,Breifne Temp,Agricultural Science-Kerri AnnThornton-2,Agricultural Science-Kerri AnnThornton-2,Agr-KT-55-LC2@email.ie

The editingteachers are in the system, the CSV has the usernames included.

Can anyone spot what is wrong ? as I say, all courses are being created but the teachers are just not being assigned.

Anyt help would be great.

Just to clarify - this is a different bulk upload tool which can also pull in a standardised course template when bulk creating (though has a bit of a glitch that duplicates each course resource. That bug is filed in the tracker - http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/CONTRIB-3760

After an hour of frustration I finally figured out that 'editingteacher' is not specifying who will be able to edit the course - but is instead modifying the label for what you call someone with that permission (ie teacher, tutor, etc). To assign users with editing rights you need to then do a bulk upload to assign the users after creating the courses (with the upload users functionality listed under users rather than courses).
