I have a problem with the custom certificate plugin, when I add an image or background image to the certificate it generates a 404 error in the edit.php file and I can't see or download the certificate, I am in a hurry with this since the students want to have their certificate.
If I remove the image or background image the certificate displays without problems.
Moodle version: 4.2.1
Custom Certificate plugin version: 4.2.2
Can you help me with this problem, please!
Glad we had a backup. Please advise.
Check the settings at /admin/settings.php?section=modsettingcustomcert where you can add many email addresses separating them by comma.
- Course Completion Settings
- Requires a minimum grade of 8.
-Checked the certificate settings. It will be restricted once the student achieves the final course grade of 8.
And there isn't a way to "reissue a certificate." Any idea how we can get the students who clearly completed a certificate?
The same thing happens to me as to Ballard Ingram. When a student finishes a training, the email with the copy of the certificate does not arrive to her or the teacher's email or to different assigned emails.
I have reviewed all the sections, executed the CRON and it still does not work
Do you know how I can solve the problem of sending the certificate?
The later versions allow templates to be created after the creation a template could be loaded into a course, then it can be edited and it becomes separate from the template.
How possible is to make it read from the template so when the template is edited the edit is reflected to the course certificate without re-loading?
Or at least a setting to force selected template or allow edit; in the main setting of the custom certificate at admin level.
On the other hand, when changing settings at the admin level at admin/settings.php?section=modsettingcustomcert, they are used as default setting, but they do not change all certificates, would it be possible to add something to enforce the change to all certificates and also lock settings, this becomes as a policy to adapt to all certificates.
I hope we could have these changes soon.
Thanks a lot for an always wonderful plugin.
Thanks,
Hope this helps
I'm looking to upgrade a site from 3.11.16+ to 4 (probably 4.4 eventually) but have a question about the Certificate.
We currently have an api link so an external awarding body can automatically check that a certificate is valid (name, course, certificate numner etc) Are there any changes to the way Certificate works in version 4 that I need to be aware of that might impact this process?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
