    Hello, I have a problem while updating the actual plugin.
    The updating routine stops with an error:
    [Fehler] Entpackte Datei nicht gefunden [{"file":"exacomp\/exacomp-master\/"}]
    Installation wegen einer fehlerhaften Überprüfung abgebrochen.
    It seems that the file exacomp-master or a subfile is missing?!
    I am working with Moodle 4.0.7+
    The problem is that all other plugin updates must be chosen manually because this error blocks all update processes.
    Best regards

    Hello Joachim sorry for the inconvenience - I just checked, the installation runs through on my 4.0-moodle installation. However the folder exacomp-master (which is empty) should not be there. Can you try to delete it? We will check on this and publish a new version shortly - you can also download from: https://github.com/gtn/exacomp - regards, Andreas

    Does anyone know if this is still under active development? Will it be updated to support 4.2?

    @Andreas Riepl,

    I have been working with Moodle internal competency framework hence having a hard time to understand the following:
    1. What is the main difference between Moodle CBE (Competency-Based Education) compare to Exabis Competence Gird.
    2. What is the Pros & Cons choosing one over another.
    3. Is Exabis Competence Grid more focus on teachers-student usages only instead an organization setup the their own competency framework that to be use through out any curriculum inside their LMS.

    Hello Talha! The difference would be that exabis works with competence grids (like language-grids from level A1-C2). By doing this it is possible to define the level of a learner and the goal - this is what our software developments relate to. We have built a script that synchronizes from between Moodle-competences and our block. A block is not part of the core of Moodle, so we have to work it this way. We import data to our block from the free tool comet.edustandards.org where competence grids can be developed. These can have both organisational perspectives as well as curricula for any subject. Regards, Andreas

    @Andreas Riepl,

    Thank you so much. It does help me understand the difference between Moodle (CBE) & Exabis Competence Grid. I would highly appreciated if you can point me to some Webinar / Tutorials / Help documents that can get me started. Again highly appreciated.
