Hello,

The 'course index' (menu/panel) does not display on the left-hand side with the 4.1 version (4.1.0.1 (2023022800)) of this plugin for both teachers and students when using the Boost theme. However, when in editing mode, the course index does appear.  Does anyone know how this could be fixed. I imagine some CSS code would fix this.

The moodle version being used is 4.1.1+. And this happens in the latest Mac version of Firefox, Safari and Chrome.

Here's a screenshot of a course page in which the format is 'Tiles' and the theme is 'Boost', and editing is OFF. The course index tab which should be visible on the left-hand side is NOT showing.

Hello Paul,

Thank you for posting this.

It should also be noted that the group override due dates for an assignment do not appear in the 'Upcoming events' block either. The due date shown in 'Upcoming events' block is the one set in the 'Availability' section of the assignment settings. This is a serious issue as this date could be many weeks after the date set in the group overrides and this bug is not obvious to teachers unless they login as a student of their course who is in the group for which an override has been set.

The same bug exists for the Quiz activity module, and quite possibly for any other activity module that has a group override function.

Thank you Rick for your reply and the link to the other related post.

You mentioned in that other post that you automatically create groups. I too use the 'Auto-create groups' function to create up to 100 groups at a time. Having to then go back and edit every group so that the group icon does not display in forum posts is going to be 'annoying'. I will also have to edit the group settings for all existing courses.

I may well do.
