Dialogue's not a standard activity module so if you can't see it under your "add an activity " menu it's likely it isn't installed on your Moodle.

They should only have their own courses in the list once they have logged in. If they see all the courses then it might be because they have been assigned the role as teacher via site admin>usersp>permissions>assign system roles - ie, they have been assigned globally as teachers and not in the courses they teach only.

Hi there. In the course where you have that "jump to " box, can you see two boxes above the light bulb? One of them says "show all topics" and if you click on it then it will bring back all the other topics. As for the "green cross" this is to do with Ajax settings - if it is turned on you can drag and drop things to move them around; if it isn't then you move up and down with the arrow. If you are site admin check in Appearance>ajax and javascript that it is enabled. It can also be disabled in user profiles. I would caution using Ajax however if you are training newbies - while it makes moving stuff around easier, you need a steady hand or else your stuff will fly away to the end of the universebig grin Likewise, it sometimes doesn't work perfectly on some browsers/set ups. I tend to have the default move up and down arrows until users are familiar with the system and then they can decide if they prefer the ease of the "Ajaxed" handlebars.
